Permaculture Design Course Outline
Classes are held everyday from 9 – 5:30pm (12 day), or 9am -7:00pm (10 day) Every Class day consist of 4-5 sessions: 9am – 10:30am , 11am – 12:30pm, 2pm – 3:30 and 4 – 5:30pm, and 6-7pm for the 10 day course. There are 1/2 hour breaks between each Session for group and individual activities and an hour 1/2 lunch break. Each day there will be some sort of hands-on activity in applied permaculture. There will be one or two field trips. There will be scheduled time for group and individual design preparation and sessions for preparing the final design presentation. Students must attend 70% of the 72 hour course to receive their Certificate. Students will design as an individual and in groups.
